Monthly Alzheimer’s and Dementia Family Support Group
3rd Tuesday of every month @ 10 am

Oak Crest Residence, in affiliation with the Greater Illinois Alzheimer’s
Association, offers a support group for family members of persons with memory loss from Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Individuals with memory loss are invited to socialize with our members while their family is attending the support group.

Presented by the Art Institute of Chicago, Visual Tricks-Visual Treats explores the charming genre of still-life, including the special subcategory called trompel’oeill (“literally trick the eye”). A closer look at the often humorous ways artists used deceptively realistic paintings to guide the viewer beyond what meets the eye.
