Monthly Alzheimer’s and Dementia Family Support Group 3rd Tuesday of every month @ 10 am Oak Crest Residence, in affiliation with the Greater Illinois Alzheimer’s Association, offers a support group for family members of persons with memory loss from Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Individuals with memory loss are invited to socialize with our members while their family is attending the support group. October 2010 October 2nd 9:30 a.m. Know the 10 Warning Signs of Memory Loss This informative program is presented by the Alzheimer’s Association and focuses on a basic overview of Alzheimer’s disease and covers risk factors, diagnosis and the benefits of early detection.
